DOA Project: A Strategic Turning Point for NSE and NVIS Programs

In 2022, NSE embarked on a strategic and ambitious transition with the project to obtain DOA (Design Organisation Approval or Part 21J) certification in response to evolving EASA (European Authority for aviation safety) regulations. This change has made DOA essential for continuing cockpit adaptations for Night Vision Goggles (NVG) use.

This project is crucial for the future of NVIS night vision solutions at the Soyons site and is being carried out in partnership with our client SAF, a major operator serving the French SAMU.

To highlight its significance, we officially communicated about this project during the European Rotors exhibition in November 2024, notably through a reception bringing together clients and partners. This event also provided an opportunity to finalize several major contracts:

The achievement of DOA certification will be the result of the dedicated efforts of our project team. We are on the right track, and approval is expected to be finalized before the end of 2025.

Today, NSE equips nearly the entire French civil and military NVIS market, a performance that illustrates our excellence and commitment in this strategic sector for Soyons.
