It has been more than a year since the NSE group committed to the CSR approach and we are proud to publish this first extra-financial report. This is important to us out of conviction and in response to our stakeholders.
Developed in 2021 from an CSR diagnosis which gave the floor to NSE's Customers, Employees and Partners, this report formalizes the launch of a global dynamic: that of our economic, social and environmental responsibility declined on the basis of the meta-reference that is ISO 26000.
Deploying a CSR approach helps to strengthen the attractiveness of the company to its stakeholders, whether they are NSE customers, current and future employees and partners of the group as a whole.
"The publication of this report is a significant acceleration of our desire to deploy a CSR approach that will strengthen the virtuous posture of the Group. NSE is in working order to implement good practices and follow the major commitments made by governance." says Cecilia DE CARVALHO, CSR Manager at NSE.
Committed for years to a process of continuous improvement, NSE focuses on the main issues that emerged from an initial materiality analysis approach. The main so-called "material" issues have been identified and prioritized by internal stakeholders and some external stakeholders.
We build our CSR approach around 4 major commitments and 9 main challenges. These issues concern the economic component & governance, the social component and the environmental component :
NSE is committed over the next few years to developing a strategy and an action plan that respond to the risks, challenges and responsibilities of an industrial player.
These commitments can only nourish the daily implementation of the values dear to NSE: stringency, frankness, hard work, honesty, humility.
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is defined by the European Commission as the voluntary integration by companies of social and environmental concerns into their business activities and their relationships with stakeholders.
Simplified, CSR is "the contribution of companies to the challenges of sustainable development".
Founded in 1983 and with an international vocation, the NSE Group specializes in the design, manufacture and maintenance of high-tech electronic equipment. The group mainly operates in the Defense, Civil Aeronautics, IT, Medical and Railway sectors.
