Installed in 2024, the charging station was brought into full compliance during the first half of 2025. This EATON electric station, developed by Green Motion and Pipistrel, represents significant progress for the sector’s energy transition. It will enable the charging of light electric aircraft, paving the way for more environmentally friendly aviation practices.

The project was made possible thanks to the financial support of the Syndicat Mixte of the Clermont-Ferrand Auvergne Airport, which brings together the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region, the Puy-de-Dôme Department and Clermont Auvergne metropolis. It also demonstrates SEACFA – VINCI Airports’ commitment, as the airport operator, to supporting ecological innovation in aviation. An inauguration will take place in early 2026 at the Aulnat site.
