Editorial - Eletter n°60
Hello everyone,
It has now been almost a year since I joined NSE as Chairman of the Management Board, with the ambition of pursuing the Group’s sustainable growth and further improving our performance in the service of our clients. This first year has been intense, demanding, and full of achievements, all within a particularly uncertain international context.
The Aerospace and Defence sectors are currently experiencing strong growth driven by increased needs for security, industrial sovereignty, and fleet modernization. In France and abroad, recent government announcements and upcoming investments will generate a significant acceleration across many critical programs. These trends will have a direct impact on NSE’s activities, and we have been actively preparing to meet these new expectations.
The past months have been marked by several major milestones for our Group.
On May 15, we successfully completed a strategic operation: the sale of 120,000 treasury shares, representing 3.5% of the capital, for a total amount of 4.2 million euros. This transaction enabled nine new institutional investors to join NSE, strengthening our financial stability and our investment capacity.
Another major step forward came on September 30, when NSE finalized the acquisition of Ametra Intégration’s activities, a recognized player in electrical and electronic cabling and system integration. This operation, perfectly aligned with our growth strategy, aims to create a leading reference in France and Europe in our markets. On this occasion, nearly 230 employees in France and Tunisia joined the NSE Group. In this eletter, you will find an exclusive interview with Laurie Douaud, Managing Director of NSE Anjou and NSE Butitec.
We have also officially committed to the Aero Excellence™ programme, led by GIFAS. The first self-assessment will take place in November 2025, with the objective of obtaining an initial label in the second half of 2026.
At the end of July, we published our 2024 Extra-Financial Reporting, highlighting the progress made in our responsible and sustainable development approach. This progress has been recognised with the award of the EcoVadis Bronze Medal, an encouraging first milestone in the continuous improvement of our CSR performance.
At the same time, NSE is positioning itself as a key player in radar programmes, which are expected to see significant ramp-up in the coming years.
The year 2025 has also been marked by several achievements:
- the installation of an electric aircraft charging station in our Aulnat hangar;
- the award of the ENGINE LIFE CONNECT label from Safran Helicopter Engines;
- our ISO 27001 certification, together with the achievement of the AirCyber GOLD level (self-assessed).
Finally, we are continuing our active presence at major international industry events: SOFINS, Paris Air Show, FED, MRO Europe, UAV Show, and soon MILIPOL and European Rotors.
All these successes are first and foremost those of our teams, whose daily commitment enables NSE to move forward with rigor, agility, and ambition. They are also yours – clients, partners, and suppliers – thank you for placing your trust in us and helping us improve.
Thank you sincerely for this valuable collaboration.
I wish you an excellent reading, and together with the entire Group, remain fully committed to supporting your projects in our areas of expertise: Aerospace, Defence, Mobility, Industry, and Electronics.
Take care of yourselves and your loved ones.
Jérôme FABRE,
Chairman of the Management Board
