Defence Services: A Strong Start to the Year Marked by Visits to the Varennes-sur-Allier and Riom Sites

On 14 January 2026, the Director of the French Army Integrated Maintenance Structure (SIMMT), accompanied by members of his senior leadership team, visited NSE's Varennes-sur-Allier and Riom sites.
During the visit, Lieutenant General Richard Ohnet shared his perspective on the current international security environment and highlighted the critical importance of logistics and technical support in maintaining operational readiness.
Lieutenant General Richard Ohnet, Director of the SIMMT, also awarded the French National Defence Bronze Medal to three employees at NSE's Varennes-sur-Allier site in recognition of their commitment and service.
