Three watchwords: synergy, mutual aid and support. Since 2017, NSE has been committed to a social approach with the establishment of partnerships with the E2D association (Emploi Développement Durable) and the AVENIR association (ACI Avenir Bois).
These structures recognized as being of social utility based on the Vichy region (03) are at the service of people experiencing difficulties in accessing employment. Socio-professional guides and social supervisors, support these men and women through activities.
In this way, participates and contributes to reintegration and professional development.
The functioning / Our contribution
Waste recovery has been at the heart of our concerns for several years. This is why we have completely revised our operating method with regard to the collection of cardboard and pallets.
The E2D (for cardboard) and AVENIR (for pallets) structures regularly collect on our site in Abrest (03).
In order to be integrated into the recycling process, these collected raw materials are thus baled and then delivered respectively to the site of a local waste treatment provider.
New perspectives
In 2020, thanks to these collaborations, more than 75 tonnes of cardboard and 12 tonnes of pallets were collected and recycled at the Abrest site. Indeed, the Abrest site is the site that generates the most cardboard and wood waste by the nature of its activities.
In the near future, deployment is thus planned on a second NSE site.
